China’s economy is hurting more than they are letting on. They are betting on the US economy to start retracting. I’m thinking that both the US and China will reach an agreement in 6 months.

Air Cargo World had reported that some carriers experienced an uptick in growth.

It might be too late on some measures. China has already gotten new suppliers for soy - they aren't coming back to the US. same with many US companies that have found new suppliers.

Living in the farm belt, I've made a few friends in that business. These folks have told me that countries that never bought grains from the US before are now buying. If you dig a little deeper, these new buyers just happen to be many of China's new suppliers. Looks like China now has to deal with a middle man and the associated mark ups.

Sounds like you’re trying to put lipstick on a pig. The entire world know this trade war is having a negative effect on all parties involved.

Well yes genius, trade wars and real wars hurt everyone. Now the question is should we ever fight one. If your answer is no, are you learning Mandarin? Are you Greta from Sweden?

Can’t quite figure out why ALPA National didn’t pursue settlement from the getgo.

And if the 4 just wanted the truth to be out, why didn’t they continue to fight?

Still waiting on the Plaintiffs Statement post settlement. Since May 12, 2017. Must still be in draft

FedEx Pilots v. ALPA
I also seem to recall plaintiffs saying that ALL FedEx pilots would share in any settlement. That ever happen? Or am I misremembering?

IIRC, it was not certified to be a class action lawsuit, which was a win for ALPA. If it was certified as a class action, all would have gotten something.

Once that happened, they settled. Don't know that the details were ever disclosed.

Personally, I think the lawsuit had merit.

Since agency shop, "our" union leadership has had no accountability and seems to do as they please as "they know better than us".

Were you learning Mandarin before the trade war? So why do you think it would be necessary? And I did plan on learning Mandarin after I’m done with the language I’m currently learning.
