If the Mighty Skywest was amicable to a merger they would've shared any progress or the lack there of. And if they wanted it, it would've happened. Another thing that bothers me is the fact you say most were unaware? How does this happen when these pilots/people are under the same umbrella? That's solidarity at its finest right there.

For those of you that can look past the way SkyWest crapped all over XJT/ASA, then there is also this to look at.
AND NO, I do not work for or recruiting for any airline. Just check out who is on the bottom.

Well, hourly rate is a much better comparison, since bonuses can easily vanish at the whim of management. Good luck to the CRJ folks looking to make the jump to Endeavor, I wish you all the best.

It was voted in because of the growth.. so far they haven’t lied... And im sure if we voted it down they would have gone to XJT and offered the same deal. And they were already willing to say yes..

Maybe because Skywest bonuses aren't bonuses? They are profit sharing or performance bonuses, neither of which are guaranteed. Unlike the bonuses at all the other regionals.
So you are saying that the 45 ejets would've gone to xjt? The negotiations at xjt have stalled. Management doesn't want to pay.

Hmmm, that's a lot of speculation. Have you seen Skywest's profit margins for the last several years? I think they'd be okay if they paid you guys more. I also believe that those planes were going to Skywest regardless. Now you're stuck with near bottom industry rates. And yes I know about the bonuses. Performance bonuses are the hardest to quantify as regular income
