Could it be because you guys are heavy on pilots with the 200's leaving?

You can thank Skywest pilots. By agreeing to a pay freeze/cut
They sealed your fate.

The latest award is out. It now takes 15 years to hold ATL in the left seat, 2 years in the right. Expect another one of these in a couple of months.

This is definitely NOT the case. It's actually, how little of an increase in total compensation can we offer and get 50%+1 of the vote. The farther they are from that target, the more they overpaid. Because anything more than that reduces profit. And management has a legal fiduciary to stock holders ONLY, not pilots. Pilots need to have their own legal fiduciary entity to advocate for their total compensation. Without that fiduciary, the pilots will always get less than they could've gotten.

Any belief other than that, I feel is naive.

How are the two tied together? Is that rhetorical?

Either way, your pay increase is still woefully below expressjet pilot total compensation.

Nah. My buddies in SGU tell me October 2018. Soft landings XJTers. It's sad to see another once great airline getting Comaired.

Many cities are increasing minimum wage to $15/hr which is about
A 50% increase. What do you think that will do to inflation?
Your 1-3% raise won't come close to it.
That is a pay cut!
