They are joking with you (kind of). No base has been announced et for Atlanta, but SkyWest is doing a lot of CRJ (pretty much all 200 flying, with some exceptions) flying in and out of Atlanta.

I wasn't trying to be snide.

I was trying to warn the guy..... Maybe someone gave him the idea that ATL would be something a new person could rely on.

i hate the way things are going, but the reality is that no new hire will be able to hold ATL anytime soon-or ever, unless things really turn in a good direction. (And I genuinely hope they do.)

But yeah. It's not the place to go anymore if ATL is your goal.

And the SKY 200 flying is slowly being transferred to 9E. Looking at the future Sch in development I wouldn't be boasting too much.

No boasting here. From what I understand, Inc. is trying to reduce the east coast flying and focus more on the west/Midwest.

They've been saying that for at least 7 years.

Say what? Hardly, OO has significantly more 200 flying in DTW than 9E does. That base for 9E, in terms of 200 flying, has probably shrunk by 50% over the last year or so. OO is doing more DL 200 flying now than ever.

Heck, OO has 200 flying from RDU now even.

Spot on, we went to RDU twice today. On our way in the second time I said to my FO, Skywest is everywhere now. Hardly ever heard them that far east a year or two ago
