To the person who asked about Atlanta going away, it is not. It will be senior, but with the current attrition rates, I would think you could probably get to the ATL within a year, assuming hiring continues. Someone hired in November has already moved up almost 150 numbers, although we have shrunk in that time. Their relative seniority has improved in that time.

Just read the latest union email. Apparently the company and union are at odds over continued use of captains in the right seat as of May 1. Could this be the beginning of the downgrades? Anybody have any solid numbers on hiring versus attrition?

On attrition, not sure how accurate the numbers will be if you can get them, as many pilots who have left are on LOA on the hire-back plan and are still on the seniority list, so the numbers might be skewed.

I don't think we are there yet as far as displacements. The upgrades on the last position notice were given out of necessity to fill LGA vacancies, but who knows how it will be once everybody is on the 7/9 and we have a surplus. Currently looking at both CA/FO reserve lists we are running short on both sides most days.
