Correct. The least they could have done is pay it Dec 31 so we could get the rest back a month later. I’m sure it benefits them tax-wise, of course.

I'd say put on your tall boots and waders to get through what ever they are going to be spreading out this time. But by now we are should be onto deep sea diving apparatus. I hear trans training classes on ERJ were canceled in Jan anybody want to speculate?

Having said that, however, UAL must know that they have to do something drastic quickly or their ERJs will soon be parked due to a lack of pilots willing to go through the CPP but roll. They tried he Commut Air thing, but that appears to be a dismal failure.
Of course maybe UAL management really is that incompetent and we’re just going to listen to another song and dance.

I’m done being an optimist. Been burned once too many times at this company.

The benefit of the cpa is that it motivates you to get your package in order, then since you have it all together, you might as well put it in everywhere. Then UAL loses out when pilots who were waiting on the cpp end up going to another major. There are a few pilots here that played it that way.

The only thing left to take away is our jobs. The airline isnt viable with less than 100 planes according to mgmt. So its either we are shutting down or there may just be some **** news monday. Happy Holidays
