One or the other. I just think if taken in the terms of the long play why in the world liquidate 600k just prior to the stock gaining another 20%+. Unless you know you stand to gain something. My guess Ual rumor falls flat before march. INC then says it's because XJT IS unprofitable 50%+ drop and get your money back 6 to 8 months from now. But what do I know maybe he's getting BMWs for his fam. Just think it's not good for those who think the UNINTED purchase will actually happen. Like I've said in the past I want to wrong for the lifers sake.

So here's my dilemma in the face of this new info: delay my class date with edv to see if the united rumor plays out, or just gtfo?

When is your class?

I would stay until the end of this year so you can get the bonus paid in January. If we have know news here by the end of December, they have waited too long. The attrition doors swing WIDE open in January and I think this place really circles the bowl fast at that point. Most FOs I talk to have classes setup and are just staying till the end of the year to get that January bonus check.

Don't forget, there will be another displacement bid in January or February that will inflict even more pain on those just barely hanging on to a line or a hybrid line or LCR or the CRJ or a CA seat or even a base. That next bid will force mass commuters and probably accelerate the attrition even further.

So no news by the end of the month, then I think it's too late. $10,000 to stay another year is WAY TOO LITTLE, WAY TOO LATE.

How old are you? How much 121 time do you have already? How much time ar XJT? Do you want to be delta or Ual? Do you have a 4year degree? Several factors to weigh. If your young and low in seniority I say gtfo. Because it will be a while if your holding a degree and your young you will probably beat most to delta. Before the first flow happens.

Spot on good advice. I've punched my ticket after hanging on for 10years until going backward from capt. managed to avoid the lateral to env or endv going lcc. But anywhere is better than waiting here I feel.

Still, if it were me I would leave in January if no news here by the end of this month. If I lived close or had easy commute to an endeavor base, I'd go there. If I lived close or had an easy commute to an Envoy base, I'd go there. There really is no reason for someone that's been at XJT such a short time to stay.

Inc will never allow anything good to happen on this side of the pasture. When is the last time anybody at XJT got any good news?

Again, just my thoughts.

Congrats! My 4 year plan here turned into 16. I finally made it out next month as well. And, thank God, I didn't have to lateral my way out either!!
