I'm hoping I can eventually earn back what I have lost and then some. Some people get lucky and never have these issues. I know people who made it to the majors prior to their 30th birthday and have been there for years now. It is just the way the world works. Life isn't exactly fair
I'm not exactly sure why you think you're stuck. Plenty of FO's are leaving for all kinds of different flying jobs.

He feels cheated because after 7 years of service to the company, there still isn't a light at the end of the tunnel for an upgrade to gain valuable PIC experience with EXPRESSJET. FOs like him ARE STUCK until they are willing to suck up their pride, accept the fact EXPRESSJET turned out a bad choice and seriously change things around (Huge loss in QOL, Pay, etc) by either making the lateral move to another 121 regional or maybe get on at the bottom at a LCC with hopes of getting the PIC time to pad their resumes for a legacy. And no telling how long upgrade times are at LCCs. Prob not as fast as the regionals.

I got a question here, I came up a few hours short on my paycheck and I want to get it straightened out. I know on crew pay I can only make comments for the current month. Is there any way I can dispute stuff from May or did I just donate some time to the company?

You can submit a pay claim. xjt/crewmember(ERJ or CRJ)/CrewPay Claim

So are you gonna be my life coach now? You know what I do to try and get out because of one comment I made do ya? You personally know all these FOs who are obviously smarter then me and their personal situations? Clearly these FOs situations mirror my own, so I must be dumb or something. Not that I need to explain anything to you, but I'll play along. Lets see, my options are A) sellout to another regional, B) Look for another flying job outside of 121, C) do what I can now to try and get out like job fairs and volunter work etc, D) Leave aviation

Being that I'm not a single 21 year old anymore with many responsabilities, I can't just up and leave unless its worth it. Sounds like to me the best option is C. PIC won't be and has already been proven to not be as important as it once was anyway. I personally know several FOs who are now at United, Delta, and JB. So for me patiecence and option C work best.

I assume that many other people are in the same exact boat. So I guess choosing to stay until a better oppertunity comes along is technically not being "stuck", but I kind of am. Also, I'm am tired of some people on here judging other people based on no facts. People who clearly have no idea what they are talkig about. I'll do whats best for me. You act like its so simple to just up and leave.

End rant.... Pardon the interuption

I have ran into at least 3 first officers I flew with at Asa in the last 4 months in delta uniforms in Atl.... All in the 5-7 year seniority, sometimes people like to hire guys that don't have 10,000 hours , and a ton of PIC ... Just sayin.
