Allegiant 757s have 215 seats and the top pay is $153. Doesn't make our top 50 seat rate look that bad. The biggest thing I have heard about is the schedules. The guys I know that went there don't have very good schedules.

The rep. you are referring to has spent the past 20 years trying to improve things here. So this just furthers my point. The apathetic majority become the victims, and those that actually get involved and help fight to make things better get attacked for their effort. JM is just saying what many of us think but don't say.

That's because all they want to do it is get together and drink beer. What has the union ever done for ME? All they do is take my money every month. If they were really serious, they'd do it for free on their days off.

That's every argument I've ever heard at my airline. Pretty frustrating.

So generalizing an entire group of people as lazy and apathetic and bickering back and forth about is supposed to help the situation? What good does finger pointing and alienating everyone do to help the cause? It is not the least bit constructive towards improving this place. Nor does it encourages people to join you in your effort. Let me volunteer for a union who thinks I am apathetic and lazy. Yeah, let me get right on that. And our union wonders why they don't get support.

As most would agree JoeM is totally clueless. As bitter and negative as he is he REALLY needs to move on somewhere else.

Yeah, and at least one Guy I talked to in the Crew Lounge left and actually came back to XJT. He said that as crappy as this place is, it's nothing compared to how incredibly miserable his Life became at Allegiant. He said that he actually had a V1 cut for real over there due their MX being so awful.

The apathetic membership on the ASA side is due to a MEC controlled by lifers over the last 10 years that has hung FO's and Resv Captains to dry. The only real fight this MEC fought was to keep the ASA PBS ... now who has the vested interest in that?
