A If it's the respect THEY FEEL we deserve, I get it. But we get anything but respect. The problem is BS, GW, AM and the dept heads don't see the reality that what they intend isn't what is delivered at the front line.

Once you're out of training the culture isn't much different than the rest of the industry, and the OCC/GO mentality towards the front-line employees is the reason.

Just one person speaking here, but at least they don't do the old "do it and grieve it" that some other places do. They tried to extend me into a day off as a lineholder and I politely said I am not available to do that (didn't want to even mention junior manning, since CS didn't use that term). It was removed from my schedule without any fight and I went home. What they do sucks, but the CBA lets them do all of it. If we want it stopped, we need to tighten the wording in the CBA to take away the freedom of the company to use us as plugs for the dam.

P.S. had they taken a different tone and insisted on the extension, I was prepared to go to war and take the occurrence. It sucks that the reserves can't plan for anything on their days off (which needs to be changed immediately), but I will be damned if I have that kind of life as a lineholder. CS is doing a lot of crazy things lately. Just know the contract and call them on the illegal stuff.

Three stripe I am in the middle of a do it and grieve it. It happens all the time. One of the reasons this place sucks so bad is "protecting lineholders". Don't mean to get into a debate just saying those donkey's over in the GO will and do try to get around as much as they can.

Position notice 15-04 coming out soon per the e-mail. Biggest point of the e-mail was the following:

"The last bid produced (9) upgrades out of the (10) that we hoped for. This notice will produce no less than (6) and
hopefully upwards of (10) as well. Going forward, we expect no less than (6) upgrades per month. Like all of us, I’m hoping it goes well above that number.

Again, no displacements are intended and between 6-10 upgrades will result from this bid."

This is not great news, but not bad either. So I'll upgrade as a 10 year FO! Woo Hoo! If we don't fold before then

100+ credit hours on FO pay plus your choice of days off

75 hour guarantee on Capt Pay & forever on reserve
