In management's eyes ExpressJet is the cream of the regional crop so they'll wait until all the pilots leave the other operations to come fly for them. No need for better pay or signing bonuses. We've got hubris on our side.

My condolences. Did about 3 years reserve and was about a month or two from throwing in the towel before I started getting getting partial lines. I can only hope that reserve in the major league isn't as painful when I move on.

Looks like Skywest pilots get their money pending a vote. We still have no contract and our pay is now not the top in the industry.

My condolences. I sat reserve nearly 40 cumlative months as an FO at ASA. The best part is if we (ever?) upgrade lifer captains hold all the lines so we'll forever be on reserve or maybe with a week of vacation hold the crappiest of lines!

14 year Captains on the 700 can barely hold a line.

Yep. SkyWest pilots doing their best Rod Tidwell impressions shouting "Show me the money!!"

I'm heading to the Porsche store on the way home from the airport and figuring out which car I am going to get with that extra .50 cents per hour. I'm going to see if my promise of performance bonuses will allow me to upgrade to the 18" wheels and the scotch guard treatment.

I'll take it if you don't want it. How long have you been negotiating and now have a reasonable TA? I think we are approaching the 5 year mark. You guys getting growth and upgrades. 20,000 retention bonus, which of course is not set in stone. You benifit from our union dues while you put it in your pocket. A Skywest captain told me he got a $2,000 bonus for performance or profit sharing. I can't remember which, while we get $100 or less. So excuse me if I'm ****ed off and tired of being whipsawed. This has nothing to do with Skywest pilots, so I don't hold it against them. It's time Skywest and their minions in ATL stop jerking us off and get us a reasonable contract and some growth.
