As for smartpref itself, maybe you will be right. I don't know. But if you are right that it sucks as bad as you say it does, we will vote it down or go to flight line or stay separate. In any case, you get to keep flight line. So what's the issue?
No issue, looking forward to the roll out.

I dont care if you make banana videos, but there was misinformation on those videos. And we know why, they are obviously bias.
Obama? Is that you?

Its a little less that 1/10th the bonus other airlines are offering. You would start at a little less than 27-28K first year with a 32k second year. With other airlines offering larger bonuses, quicker upgrade, new aircraft it doesn't feel like much. I think the only people who will come are people who already want XJT such as: Pilot living in Atlanta, pilots living in Chicago, pilots living in Newark. Also pilots who hasve friends working at XJT, these "friends" also now have the incentive to lure new hires to the company.

Looks like there is a type rating requirement for the $7500 signing bonus.

Somehow I overlooked that part. This bonus seems a little weak. I would assume there is a larger incentive in the works for new hire pilots.

Haha I needed that laugh! I wonder if they will do a retention bonus when all the wheels start coming off?

Not much talk about the CRJ side of the house in the earnings call. A lot of talk about ERJ's. Wonder were the profit problem lies? I think the silence spoke loudly.
