Well you should've told your MEC in your survey to not fight an agreement they agreed to then. The fact is that we have a process in place. Unity will come if both sides agree to abide by it. It's not that big of a deal to have two systems if it means we have a non-concessionary JCBA for everyone. But by the p2p video your MEC put out today, I doubt we will see any unity.

2. If the software doesn't matter, why does your side demand a new untested software program that nobody else uses over a tried and tested software program that has multiple clients?

Because they believe this is a system that will increase QOL for the erj pilots. It's that simple. Each side does what is best for their pilots. Stop taking it personal and just deal with it.

Any thoughts on what might happen to ASA's DFW base since XJT is going to be moving in to take over more Envoy flying? -and bringing a chief pilot with them.

Well according to Newarkblows, you should be called out for your stupidity... Go back and read what he said about the software.

Six per class, I think, but rumor has it that classes are expected to increase in size.

I was going to respond, but having read your stuff for a long time, it is obvious that you really don't get it. You have no idea what I have or have not done, nor who I have or have not spoken to, so your accusations are baseless. You appear, unfortunately, hopeless, and if you are representative of the ERJ side, our company is as well.

How can you not take it personal when the other pilot group wants to take away your QOL? I take it pretty personally

Holy santa claus sH*t, it was ruled BY AN OUTSIDE ARBITRATOR. XJT pilots didn't decide and ASA pilots didn't decide. Get back in the seat you fly in and move on. This is why nothing gets done in this company. XJT pilots hate flightline and ASA pilots hate smartpref. We wear the same ******in wings, have the same company IDs and have the same call sign. Work on getting more flying so that management doesn't close up shop like everyone is always worried about on both sides of the house. Focker ouuuuuut.........

1. This entire fight was about protecting the top 5-10% QOL at ASA. If i have to explain this you havent been paying attention or worse you are buying into what your mec is saying without doing any critical thinking for yourself. You also voted yes for the last TA which had this PBS agreement in there so why the problem now? Other contracts have been signed elsewhere limiting the pay guide to 12 yr CA and 4 yr FO which means the mother of all "outliers" is now the amount of lifers on the crj list. Welcome back to reality. You work for a regional!

2. Demand a new software? The ASA MEC was presented about 5 different solutions to end this reasonably and fairly and yet here you are. They aren't willing to consider it, didn't want to educate themselves on it, and believed that they would be rewarded by management for making the erj side appear unwilling to negotiate. They weren't negotiating in good faith and even though this PBS agreement is done it will just roll to the next issue that is on the list. Flightline is an old, outdated software that doesn't fit the needs of 2/3 of the combined pilot group. The erj side did their homework and picked their software carefully. Having their opposition still posting half truths and attacking the software based on incorrect assumptions is petty and ignorant. I don't have a very high view of anything down in Atlanta based on our management while I worked at xjt but this spectacle with your MEC is truly embarrassing.

I'm just stating what the xjt MEC said. We will soon find out if they are correct on this.

Wait, what accusations? You are the one who talked about unity as if the xjt MEC are the ones who pushed this issue to arbitration. Your MEC lost and on the same day they put out another half truth immaculate video about smartpref. Where is the unity in that?

The issue is resolved now. Both sides should just move on now and present us a non-concessionary TA.

What is it you don't get that you keep flight line for the duration of a JCBA. If smartpref is as horrible as you make it out to be and flight line as the nirvana you make it out to be, the issue will take care of itself. If there is no JCBA then you keep flight line in perpetuity. So what's the problem?
