With 1/3 of the pilots that could have used it...
It would almost seem like conspiracy to languish on procuring a JCBA and not be in position to ink additional contracts for flying.

Speaking of 3 days, do you not have "integration" days at the beginning of the month? How many of those days do you not have control over?

And "we" are not gonna agree to anything "again" that our QOL gets killed on to support your "outliers". I'm not talking about tomorrow, but after a JCBA...such as New equip? Or how about a brand new MEC that goes ahead and "sunsets" flightline? Yet you keep all your "outliers" at the expense of ASA's QOL... Not gonna happen, better hope you win the arbitration.

Well you guys are the only ones that keep bringing it up. Like you just did a couple of days ago on this thread. That conversation was completely dead, until you brought it up and referenced me specifically. So I do believe you are taking it personal. And don't take that personal either, it's just an observation.

As for the transition, yes we do have conflicts in the transition but we are still allowed to trade during the current month. I appreciate that you now admit that there is a lockout period (6 days as of now) but it's still disingenuous to say that it can be reduced to zero. Your system needs to know what your current schedule is while they are massaging your bid award to make it legal.

Anyway, we are not trying to kill your QOL. You get to keep flight line for the duration of the JCBA. And if it's as awesome as you say it is and smartpref is as horrible as you say, then we will all be on flight line. So what's the problem? That has nothing to do with our contract. We want the best of both contracts, regardless.

Now just relax and let the process work its way through already.

God, and you say we're thick. Get it threw your thick head, NO DUAL TRACKS ! Period. End of story. And I do take it personally when your MEC ignores the agreement to not negotiate behind our backs to sell us out. Meanwhile, we are missing out on flying and no one can upgrade

I do have a thick head. And stop calling me God.

Look, maybe there won't be dual tracks. I don't know. Let the process works it's way through. What is it you don't get about that?

Anyway, your negotiators have been part of all smartpref negotiations, as per the T&PA. If you are so concerned about missing flying, then just agree to the previously agreed to PBS process agreement. But you don't so I guess you have your priorities - flight line. And I'm ok with that. Like I said, each MEC is just doing what's in their pilots best interest.

Can we all calm down now and just let it be already?

You're buying into our previous mgmt if you want to blame either MEC or pilot group for our inability to gain additional flying. Our previous leadership was awful and thats why we find ourselves in the situation we are in now. Look at republic and all the flying they've secured during their issues, AWAC just stole DC flying while turning down negotiations last year. Get over the fact that you're not upgrading bc its happening over here as well, and its neither sides fault.

Sorry to see Eagle lose flying, but glad to see that at least it's going to a relatively well-compensated pilot group that is willing to vote down concessions. Also maybe we can get past some of the divisive "shut down the militant ERJ side and grow our reasonable CRJ side" rhetoric. Obviously management is not looking to shutdown the ERJ side anytime soon.

See that is where the ASA side can't get what they want. Put something in front of the Erj side that they can vote yes too. That is really hard to do without dual tracks in the retirement section and healthcare. The larger pilot group has to vote yes or it will tank again.

Demanding flightline to specifically benefit the top 10% in each seat is also pretty short sighted. The whole argument is ridiculous. Just flip a coin at this point and move on to the next 25 things you are going to fight like children over.
