You don't think you can get hired directly to a Major? Or wait just a bit until you can?

One would think they would've made a bigger deal about this to stop/slow the bleeding (attrition)

You are not going to stop the attrition to the majors. We (LASA/LXJT combined) lost 84 guys and gals to Majors on the last attrition data.

I didn't know Compass was a major.

We did lose some to other regionals, but that was has been going on for a very long time ( percentage wise it is a very low number.) We still lost over 80+ to Majors.

Good to see so many going to DL. I briefly flew at ASA (XJT CRJ side) and really enjoyed the crews, trips, and serving the pax. Lots of great people, great pilots, good memories, and an excellent intro to 121 ops.

Good luck to everyone looking to either stay at ASA, or pursuing a job at a major! Nothing but the highest respect for ASA crews!
