New Hire Classes!
On Wednesday we announced via our social media accounts that we are beginning new hire classes in December! We plan on 12 new hires in our CRJ operation and 6 in the ERJ operation for the month. Future class numbers and schedules to be determined but it’s nice to be back in the mode of adding new folks to our team.New Hire Classes!

They're putting people in the class to certify their new AQP program. So these people in class are going to be going through a new program, while being under the watchful eye of the FAA, just be guinea pigs at the bottom of the seniority list for who knows how long.

The only people I can see going to XJT are military people looking to get some 121 time and already live in a junior base that have an income source from somewhere else. No reason for anyone else to go there.

No you misunderstood. I'm not interviewing, I just got an invite from back when was looking to go back to the regionals. I'm set for a while now.

I wasn't talking about anything, so I don't know what you're talking about. My only comment on the matter was regarding your comment. My points were that 1) 18 is a lot... and 2) The attrition numbers aren't accounting for everyone (Mesa example).

The good new is we lost 83 guys and gals to Majors from last month, and Delta had the most with 23.

Actually, that isn't accurate. The regional industry has changed and most people now know they need to go to an airline where they might get stuck for awhile. Chasing the upgrade rarely works. While we do have lots of room for improvement, If you are going to get stuck somewhere, there are very few options better than here on either side, CRJ or ERJ. The vast majority of our folks are great to work with, and we have a liveable contract.

Nobody knows, all is only rumor at this point. Until there is an official announcement from XJT management, nobody knows anything. With that being said, even if XJT loses these airframes, who is to say they will not be replaced by an E-175. Interesting times ahead.

What 175's are there to be awarded? United: done. American: virtually done. Delta: in house/Compass

Maybe he was referring to the E190s?
