Additionally, they mentioned that the ERJ side of the house is still pushing for a globalized PBS system.
You're pretty oblivious to your surroundings if you believe that. Lack of situational awareness.

Ca Tony. It's true. MEC chair was present with at least 3 reps. I only caught some of it but those parts mentioned I did hear.

Please PM me what ALPA reps were present at this event (I have a pretty good idea already). I'd like to get to the bottom of it. I will say there has been a lot less doom and gloom lately. I definitely don't think its time to abandon ship.
Do you think we are getting 9E planes?

It sounds like you're the only one left singing this tune...

Seriously, with the ASA MEC saying "get out ASAP" - makes you wonder.

Nothing said that was any different than before. In the next 5 to 7 yrs Expressjet will be half the size it is today. That means to prepare yourself for that. All been said before.

16 ERJ145s were removed from contract during the third quarter of 2014.
SkyWest anticipates 18 ERJ145s will be removed during the fourth quarter of 2014, and 23 ERJ145s and 9 ERJ135s will be removed during the first half of 2015.

As George Costanza says "it's shrinkage"!

From what I am hearing all the preaching about waiting until the end of the year was just falsifications. I hope i'm wrong, however what I have been told by several people is that the "additional" or "replacement" flying was simply never bid on and it was never the intention of the company to bid on it. It was just a perpetuated falsification either by the company or by the union. I hope this information is incorrect however it would surprise me if it is.

To the people "in the know", please pm me with details as I would like some honest and concrete answers as to what is going on. If our union members who have been spreading these things were mistaken I would like to know why they were lead astray and by whom.

Finally, this nonsense has only served to cause further divisiveness between the two groups. Perhaps now we can finally focus on getting a solid contract and ending the ridiculous squabbling over pbs.

There are no people "in the know." Anyone who would be aware of potential RFPs or awarded RFPs is prohibited from discussing or revealing any information pertaining to those RFPs. Everything is covered by non-disclosure agreements. Anyone who reveals anything would not only be putting their own personal financial liability on the line, but ALPA and the company's as well.

Not to mention the fact that such news could potentially open up the possibility of criminal charges if someone were to use the information to conduct insider trading.

Anyone who says they know of RFPs weeks, let alone months, in advance is full of ****.
