The entitlement I refer to is your collective opinion that you should be able to do whatever you want and the company can get over it because they exist to provide you a job.
And I love your plan about using ready reserves. You have now seen how this management operates for 3 years now. They will just compensate by putting 50 pilots on ready reserve every day instead of the usual 3-6. Oh but you don't care, because you're too senior to sit reserve anyhow. Yeah! F those junior F'ers!!! (Nevermind that they're 10-14 year Captains). I shouldn't have to check in! Never mind that 99% of the industry does it. Entitlement!

Well, they can't put that many on ready reserve because our contract has limitations on ready reserve. But having four ready reserves a day is reasonable and prudent. Look, our contract has been like this for almost 10 years and only once Skywest bought us has our performance been an issue. So it's obviously not a problem with our contract. So why should we give up not having to check in (and a multitude of other bigger things), just so the company can get over on us? Because you have to and therefore we must take that concession as well? Here is an idea, instead of you guys trying to bring us down to your contract, why don't you help us try to bring you up to our contract?
So yeah, if you perceive that to mean that we want to do whatever we want (we don't we just like our work rules the way they are), then that's your issue for you to get over.

Nevets, how early before departure in domicile is your report time? Also, how do they notify you of a change to your schedule if you don't sign in?

If its any indication of the hours I've worked in August so far, this seems pretty believable. I had double the amount of credit in July as I do now at this point.
