Management is managing - our expectations.

I agree with CaptTony. But you have a point, management might be doing their thing and being as negative as possible...but most of us are in tune with reality, and that reality is the fact that we are getting smaller no matter what, and when an airline shrinks there is no good news to be had. Nobody is being conned here by a management scam...

The airline is going to shrink either way. This airline with have a very small fleet of 50 seat aircraft going forward and maybe at some point a mid size fleet of 70 + seat aircraft beyond what the CRJ guys have as of today.

In less than 5 years from now I would say IF XJT is still around it will have less than half the a/c they have today and half as many pilots also.

No net upgrades or downgrades. Minus 9 for IAD CA, but plus 7 in ATL and plus 2 in DFW.

Bozo, when you say IF XJT is still around, are you referring to the ERJ side or both sides? Is the CRJ side safer?

Why are you thinking about jumping aboard this **** show? I mean seven year FO's are bailing to compass. It's super regional wind down time. I can't believe I have wasted 7 years of my life here. I'm sure some of its a management ploy. I mean cancelling upgrade bids is just a slap in the face. Why put them out in the first place? Damn nightmare over here. Run as far away as possible and forget this place ever existed because if in the end it does exist, it will be just a shell of what it was. Good luck to us all. Management seems hell bent on not trying to compete with other airlines. Oh well

Who knows, both sides are a complete and total train wreck with nowhere to go but to get significantly smaller. If you're thinking about coming here I would highly recommend considering another regional. I hate to type that, but unfortunately I'd be giving you bad advice in telling you to apply here.

John is that you? You are just a regular line pilot. Stop lying to these guys about seeing the numbers. Just because you have been a Regional Pilot for 20 years doesn't make you a Regional God!

I'm sorry to say that you have the wrong person. The CPT Tony is not JB. Open mouth and insert foot!

Both sides have exposure but in different ways. It's a wait and see.

What a dumb post. Assume much? Capt. Tony is not JB, but is a member of the CNC, and assuredly HAS seen the confidential books - and I agree with his assessment that he IS NOT a likely company kool aid drinker. If he says it, I believe him.
