Well, according to the official announcement this morning, it seems Red97Vette is right on. Don't be such a pessimist.

Turned out to be a 2:1 +34, -66 for Skywest Inc. I'd be interested in where the 66 will come from. Skywest's 50 seaters are older than ASA's, so that might be a factor when it comes to the C & D checks coming up, so those are more likely to be sent to pasture. But the other 50s with life left in them.....CLT flying? MIA flying? Plenty of rumors going around.

Hopefully it's a 2:1 at the airline that accepts the 700/900s, unfortunately I can see Skywest gaining these additional 25 aircraft, then ASA reducing our 200s disproportionately to the nine we're projected to receive.

i.e. losing more than 18 200s

Well, that would be fair. But there's nowhere in life's book of rules saying that life is fair.

Just being realistic. Till they are on property with an operated by ExpressJet on the side, it's all hearsay.

I wouldn't know but feel free to ask any of the captains in IAD. Look all I am saying is that Delta has changed their minds numerous times to who they give the flying over to after announcing it going to a certain company.

The only thing you can really count on, year after year, is Jennifer Anniston's:
