Ive never said bankruptcy is likely... but look at what his task was at Pinnacle. restructuring after bankruptcy. Just saying something is definitely in the works... Lots of people getting nervous, especially those that were on here spouting nonsense about how SKW needs XJT blah blah blah.
I don't remember anyone saying that Skywest needs XJT. But we do need someone to come in a restructure. What Inc has been doing for the last 4 years hasn't worked. I'm just saying that it makes sense for them to bring in a hired gun to clean the mess up. We've gone down that road once before so I think we all understand the inconvenience that comes with that.

Hell, what they do over here at SKW doesn't exactly work most of the time either... Jerry was NOT on the plane, but Chip and and Wade Steel (he oversees all contract management and financial planning and analysis for the holding company) were, among others.

It would be nice to just have one airline, without all the bickering back and forth... but with the unions over at XJT, it would never happen.

Or Skywest pilots could certify SAPA is their NMB recognized bargaining agent and work collaboratively with ASA/XJT pilots toward that end. I know, pipe dream.

Ok, so Concession is conjecture, and "sucks balls" is opinion... What are you basing"sucks balls"on?

And I'm really interested as to what the push back is here. Honestly, the only time I ever hear anyone complain about PBS is if the individual pilot has made a mistake in his/her bidding... We had SEVERE reservations before we had it an used it... but today, even the Junior guys tend to admit it works better for them than line bidding and trying to swap.

I would never want to return to line bidding after we got our PBS. It's awesome and bidding takes a fraction of the time it used to when I had to bid 380 lines.

I just held my first hard line on the LXJT side. 12 days off working weekends. After ILIW I now have every weekend off along with 19 days off. Will I be able to do that in PBS as the most junior line holder in the system?
