How many people do you employ? Oh that's right, DOUGHNUT. when you run your own airline you get to command and dictate it's practices. Until then, I really look forward to you falling on your sword and enacting your backup plan.

It still doesn't explain why, us as pilots, have more responsibility to our ceo's employees than he does? Can you at least answer that? I find it off that you would defend any human being that uses an immoral whipsaw business model against us.

Anyway, I've already assumed that all the ERJs are getting parked. I have absolutely no problems with that. You have anything else?

Clearly the best thing at this point is to cut the E145 side loose....After all they don't care about this job and they all have plan B ready to go...Let's do the humane thing and release them from their immoral captors...

Its not a question of more or less responsibility. It's a question of ability to live with the consequences of one's actions. Your emotional and continued justification of what you think is right belies your maturity level.

So, since our CEO has the ability to live with the consequences of his actions, it's ok. But for me, it isn't? Why is that?

Never said that. You are so desperate to be right you are assuming I'm calling you wrong... I haven't disagreed with anything you've assumed.

I seriously hope you aren't representing the pilot group... you are entirely too emotional.

Ok, maybe I misunderstood. You said my actions have consequences. I don't necessarily disagree. But my point is that, as an employee, I don't have any responsibility to our ceo's other employees. His immoral business decisions have more consequences on his employees than my one vote.

Do you disagree with any of that? If not, then I did misunderstand.

I agree with your right to form your own opinion. You have to decide the limit of your responsibility for yourself. "Moral business" is a bit of an oxymoron, which sounds much more flippant than I honestly intend.

What is XJT 401K match? What is your sick and vacation accrual rate? What are your insurance premiums? What is your per diem as well?

There is not. Theoretically, UAL could allow the leases to expire, then re-lease them to SkyWest or ASA under a new CPA. The current XJT contract has practically no scope protections, and the TPA only prohibits a direct aircraft transfer.
