According to section #14 of rules of the Internet, it reads as follows: "do not argue with trolls - it means that they win"

Thus we should all cease to reply to any of goaround's posts.

New CRJ class starts today. Anybody know how many are in the class?

Spoke with a line check airman last week who said 4 from the April class are gone. 2 quit, one before ground school was over and one before IOE was done, and 2 washed out.

Good luck to those starting today!

Hmm... Interesting. Don't know if I believe that. Anyone know where the new-hires will be based that started this week?

Probably about the same as the first class. 10 ATL, 4 IAD.

Why didn't they run a vacancy bid first before assigning the new hires a spot??

I was thinking good point, but the latest vacancy bid started July one so they may not have had to.

Don't know if you believe what? The new hire class was mentioned in a company memo from CT (I think) and I really did speak to an LCA. What's not to believe?

Are you guys referring to the class that allegedly shares a nickname with the WWII film starring Lee Marvin? I had heard that rumor back in May but had no way of substantiating it.

The July 9th class received base assignments after ten days of training. I suspect it'll be a few more days before the class that began yesterday receives base assignments.

I know we have new-hire classes, trust me! I don't believe the number of washouts that you have heard from this LCA. I only know of 3, unless some washed out around IOE
