Joe,
So basically what you are saying is that we wouldn't have to negotiate for 3 or more years for a new TA. If we vote this down, we can accept the one that Skywest was just offered. Am I correct?
By the way, why do you guys seem to always negotiate things without any hard language in the contract and also seem to not get anything concrete for the reserves? Even RAH has it in their contract that a reserve's days off cannot be moved. How hard would that have been to incorporate that into our TA? Do you guys not see the Reserves as part of the pilot group? How much would you had to give up to get that wording?

So we get 175s with Skywest deal like they do too? Would ALMOST be worth just showing alpa how useless they are

Only it would not be a year or 2. More like 6 or 8 or 10. Because after they get what they want, why renegotiate anything else? Low-balling ourselves only prolongs the regional hell we are trapped in. We need to tell them to visit Willis Tower and make sure to bring back a big bag of money. That reaches the end game more swiftly than begging for cpa. Force UNITED to make the decision on how to handle this (tight pilot supply, do you want your airplanes to move or not?) because right now they think they can make Skywest handle it for them. Skywest is United middle management, whether we see this or not will determine how successful we are. We could be quite successful if we care to see the truth.
