So as for the statement in the earnings call to the effect of We really haven't seen any major attrition yet, no real numbers...
Just got this from FAPA.aero, a statement from ExpressJet:
I suspect the numbers we're losing is higher than that
Just got this from FAPA.aero, a statement from ExpressJet:
Losing about 31 per month due to attrition (189 through June). 73 pilots in October with plans to hire 88 in November, December and January. Verified by FAPA on 17 NOV 2013

"We understand that there will be a lot of questions about this tentative agreement, and we are sure you are eager to see the contract".
This quote in the email blew my mind. Seems a littlle presumptuous. I'm pretty sure a contract has to be passed by the pilot group. If they had said "a" contract that would have at least made a little sense if we didn't know what was coming. But no, I'm not eager to see their so called "the contract".

Don't do that. It is a silly uneducated thing to say/do. Whatever the contract has in it, Read it first. Then go to the road shows ask your questions. But don't make up your mind before that. Also, remember to compare it to every other regional contract out there as well because although it may not be as good as you want it still may be the highest floating turd in the bowl. Then if you don't like it, proudly vote it down with rock solid reasons as to why you choose to do that.

It's really an easy question that will derive me to my vote. Is it concessionary?

We don't know that until we read it. That's all I am saying. And it's possible that we concede in some areas and gain in others as well. But we don't know yet
