Somewhere along the line one of your union know it alls deduced that being bought could hurt your negotiating position, particularly in the SLI, so they told you all to spin it that you weren't acquired and are on the same level as us. You all foolishly seem to believe if you say it on enough forums it will become true. Of course it won't, but under modern merger law and policy, being acquired doesn't automatically lead to a staple job like it used to. I'm sure the arbitrator with give you guys something. Maybe a 1:3 like Pinnacle or a 10 year upgrade cap like AirTran. You never know. Either way, this annoying spin of who bought who on the forums is needless at best and annoying for sure. But I don't think any experts (outside of the pipe experts) disagree that Expressjet Airlines would have been out of business by now had the not been purchased, regardless of whoever actually bought you.
CH11 and CH7 are two different things your highness and this mighty ASA was headed the same direction.

Any word on contract negotiations? They've been pretty quiet recently. But as always "We're close!"

We're closer than two cousins from West Virginia.

That's like saying little Johnny bought the candy that daddy gave him money to buy. Regardless of whatever technicalities you want to spew, we all know that it really just came down to Skywest buying Expressjet. No one in ASA management makes a decision like that and then executes then, and lastly telling JA, "oh by the way, since we here at ASA are about to get screwed on this 2nd lowest deal you made when you bought us, we decided to unilaterally buy Expressjet!"

Anyway, SLI, like any SLI will be argued on the merits that each side make to a neutral arbitration panel. The semantics of who bought who are irrelevant.

Passrider.com not working for anyone else? Anyone have a better site that doesn't exclude airlines such as southwest?

I wish I could find a website that would use different carries to get from A to B though C.

I like flightstats.com but I don't think it does three legs either.
