Go-Jet, TSA, Republic, Mesa, Compass, and now PSA will still be here so the pressure will still be on every other regional

Show me where Compass drags down the industry and I'll buy you a beer. In contract negotiations currently, with 23 TAs with gains.

You're right about the others, save TSA. Huge gains in their last contract to bring them up to (and exceed in a some areas) industry average.

That's good to hear about Compass, but it's not done yet. I hope they get some improvement for new hire training so that first three months isn't so brutal pay wise. I wasn't aware of TSA, sometimes the stigma lingers for a while

Why would they want to wind down their cheapest operator?

On the CRJ side, cancellation pay and deadhead are both 100%. Reserve varies depending on domicile and hiring volume; I would imagine it would be a few months, maybe longer in Atlanta, I don't really don't know.

And they don't have a bunch of lifers who decided to park it at a regional their whole career. I feel like that may be why they are cheaper, anyone ever hear of longevity?

No way. How can we "Delta" take our contractors and make them cheaper?

I'll let you answer it. It's not too hard.

Can some one give some back ground on this. I overheard a couple of DFW guys talking about a certain pilot in DFW that got in trouble pulling a Scott P on a flight.
