Heard a rumor that xjet is now going to offer a $10,000 hiring bonus to future classes. Any truth to that?

Yes, how convenient for management to start a rumor we're going to be sold. "Better hurry up and take these small concessions before Hulas really rapes you or DAL gives you a 40% pay cut like PCL." Which is why I wanted to address it.

I don't know if the pay and work rule cuts actually add up to 40, but even if its 20 or 30 you spineless wussies still screwed the rest of us. But don't worry, we'll tell DAL no for you and you can have our planes when we shut down. Unlike your pilot group, we value our skills and demand to be compensated accordingly. Oh, and most of our people can speak read and understand english.

Ok u let us know when the pilot group has a vote . Even though it's an extremely different situation over there. Im not at pinnacle anymore but it staying in business allowed me to collect a paycheck bedore getting hired elsewhere. expressjet is already on a concessionary contract. Ironic? Don't u think?

Another convenient rumor, probably started by management.
