This thread is an embarrassment to both pilot groups. Would the four or five of you shut up and please stop trying to represent 4500 pilots.
How about you post constructive ideas about what we should have in the joint contract like others have. Minus scheduling systems because that will go nowhere.
The L-XJT side needs better rigs. 2 hour min day pay if you fly and 3.75 for a min day open time pick up is not adequate. I suggest 4 hours if you fly and 5 hours for a day off pick up. We also have no duty rigs. What do you guys have on the L-ASA side?

How about getting constructive, folks?
CRJ and ERJ: What, specifically do you want out of the new contract? What do you like about your current contract? What do you dislike?
Simple questions. We can point fingers at each other all day about what part of the "other side" we DON'T like, but I'm not sure anyone has addressed this simple question? How 'bout it, everyone? Huh? High fives?

Back to the overwater topic, I heard it was for flying out of san juan and some 200s were being fitted already, but again, he said, she said.
On to contracts, the acey duty rig is actual flight time or 2-1 duty time, whichever higher.
Reserve rules at acey need to be seriously tightened up. No one expected to be on reserve for five years, but its here. No more call for release, far less long call to short call conversions (1-2 max) and stricter adhereance to the bucket list and call out periods. No more of this "at the companies discression" bs. Scheduling is interpreting the rules more loosely than a California Dem and no one holds them accountable. Obviously reserve sucks but it could seriously suck far less.

Belowmins:
ASA min day is 3:52. Close to the 4 you want, hopefully we can get it.
2:1 duty rig below 12 hours of duty. Above 12 hours it is 1:1.
When it's all said and done guys, they are going to take the better part of both contracts and come up with one. (hopefully). Pay will probably barely increase, XJT will get better rigs, ASA will get better reserve, and so on.
When it comes out and it is not an overall improvement, vote it down by all means. Until then, chill out.

Ready Reserves on the other hand will get the duty rig pay for actual duty day.

Everybody I know want improvements over what we have. I don't understand how anyone can conclude otherwise. The idea that either side is willing to agree to anything concessionary is preposterous. The concern that many L-ASA folks are concerned about are the number of L-XJT folks who appear to have made up their mind prior to even seeing the TA.
That said, I would like to see a minimum of 4 hrs per day, preferably 4.5. I would like to see all reserve days as GDO's, and the ability to move them or swap them. I would like to know my schedule for the next month by the 15th of the month. I would like to see first year pay no less than $35/hr, and I would like to have number of legs limited to 5 per day.

A few more that I would like to see for the CRJ guys and ERJ if applies.
-Reduction of RRR per month for the reserve pilots.
-Deadhead pay is block or greater (pay like you flew it which covers MX and weather delays).
-Increase in min day
-Reduction in the percentage of 4 day trips.
