They are really trying to make ATL the incredible shrinking base.

I hope not. That would be horrific for junior CR7 line holders in ATL that live in base.

The 15 aircraft would be crj 200 right? I am interviewing with expressjet soon for the Atlanta base. I hope the base doesn't shrink

Aren't those 19 RJs owned by Delta? I believe those RJs were also part of the deal to return them to Bombardier in exchange for 40 new 900s

Delta/Bombardier might own them as an intermediary but they are really owned by a leasing company. The leasing companies have deserts full of these things and are willing to sell/lease/give them away at this point. It wouldn't surprise me if you started seeing some of these 50 seaters get sold right back to the regional that operated them after the mainline carrier gave up their rights to extending the lease. The engine maintenance and overhaul is where it gets tricky.

I've got an interview next week. Are they currently hiring into the CRJ and does anyone know if ATL is an option? Thanks

I do not think so. If they where why would the company says they are trying to flying for them.

No. Those are PNCL a/c not current a/c.

Yeah, it would kinda be like when St. George moved into IAH.
