There's an interesting undertone from a few of the ERJ ExpressJet guys on here. I don't know if it's a self-conscious thing because your company was acquired (by Skyw Inc.). If it's some sort of over compensation because you have an inferiority complex of some sort (I don't understand why you would). Or, if you are just a couple of jackasses trying to get a rise out of the CRJ guys and create a divide on the ERJ. Goaround, for your sake I really hope you are just trolling. The crap you spew and te dissent you try to create is 1. Not based on facts, what TA are you talking about!? And 2. Is going to do nothing to better this company . Unfortunately there are people who read this stuff and don't know better than to look past the crap you write and realize you are full of it. Nevets. Well, you used to make sense but your delivery these days sounds more like a desperate broken record. I've written you off too.

To those who are either new to this business or new to reading these boards, please take what these guys write with a huge grain of salt. It is this divisiveness and distribution of "facts" by a few people with agendas that will do nothing but drive you crazy and make you angry. That's what they want!

I've met so many ERJ XJT crews this year and I am really looking forward to working along side them in the future. I won't let a few jerks from your side effect my opinion of you, and I hope you will do the same for us.

Breaking News *News Flash*

This just in from the mouths of the all knowing. Oh and the training department too. (sarcasm in case you couldn't tell)

Training Dept - Extended over water ops on some of the 50s. This has already started.

All Knowing - CRJ side will be the first to take a 2 for 1 deal on aircraft we lease. I'm hearing around 20-30. Those airplanes will then be transfered to AA out of Miami. The 70s or 90s will be DTW based.

And in other news the Lotto is up to 86 million.

Cheers

When you say it's already started, are you saying that there are line pilots going through the training right now? I'm just curious because I haven't heard anything about it.

Doubt it! The new 70+ seaters will go to Compass and GoJet.

Not too sure about that. The whole point was to swap out 50's that are coming up for heavy mtc. Now that does not mean your 50's will not be swapped out with Pinnacles newer ones.

I dont think there is much training on this for the pilots. Extended over water is only 162 miles off shore. Its a flight attendant thing, they need to brief the pax before push with their announcement, thats all. If there is anything for the pilots its probably just a bulletin. I don't really remember anything specific as far as training goes anyhow for this...

No training for us yet. Guess they meant the aircraft will be retrofitted for it.

The training is a very well made (sarcasm) 10-15 minute online video.

You guys are to funny, in the last 2 pages you guys are trading in airplanes that are flown under Delta for airplanes to fly under AA, then you will grab your older 50 seaters and trade them with pinnacle's... Ha ha, also for over water you guys need more than just a video, need ditching training as well as other things! As far as the distance well it's what the CO and the FAA come up with but normally is The distance that an engine can take you for an hr!

I've been hearing a lot about us getting the airplanes certified for extended over water ops. Why are we doing this?? Nobody has an answer.
