I just got done with recurrent training, and the ALPA word when we had lunch that our dues paid for said that we will have a TA to vote on within 90-100 days. The PBS/scheduling thing is worked out, and they were meeting with the company on Friday and Monday (most recently) to discuss financials.

Prior to my current position at ExpressJet, I was in management, in the private sector of a different industry. So, I'm not blowing smoke but rather stating things from experience.
However, I will agree that I have no experience in the private aviation sector or a lot of the other industries. Maybe you are right and I'm wrong. In any case, I would like to be proven wrong that management (airline, healthcare & local government) does not get any type of raise year after year. In proving me wrong, it will hopefully benefit the workforce that sustains a company.

What's the real world? I wasn't aware that I was part of an FSX Airline edition forum.

I kinda just sat in the back and giggles when they said that. I guess for bidding, each company will have 2 year to use their own, but L-XJT has those 2 years to develop something that is as good, or better than PBS and prove it. If they don't then they go to PBS and they are stuck with it for the duration of the new contract, and the following contract.

If there is a following contract..........
I have a feeling with the way things are going ASA-XJT won't be around all that much longer (relative). With performance numbers in the tank, attrition only going to get worse, no new hires to fill classes, and aircraft leaving. It almost seems like the smart thing for Skywest to do is cut their losses and slowly start taking over our routes with E175. If anybody here listened to the Skywest earnings call, you probably heard one of the main investors asking "why is Skywest continually giving resources to the sister companies when they keep losing money and Skywest itself is posting profits." You could tell from their answer that they were kind of jumping around the question.
From a business standpoint it makes sense but I know they are trying to fulfill that "Super Regional" motto of theirs. Maybe others have better insight but that is just my opinion.

DL5610 was cancelled and downgraded to a 200 operated as DL5611. The crew of 5610 deadheaded PHL-MEM-ATL-PHL. The most inefficient, asinine thing I've seen in a while.
