You are probably right. However, I am doing my best to look at the positive side of things looking forward. Knowing that this is a stepping stone to get me back in the game and current, and moving on to where I want to go I can deal with things like this no problem.

Considering he is based in the DFW, I doubt that will effect him much.

I'm thinking of another vacancy bid as we will be overstaffed on the ATL 200. That'll push him down.

But you never know what really will happen.

With attrition over the next few months, parking aircraft won't matter.

Well until that time comes I will enjoy what I have and be grateful for it. It still beats working 6-7 days a week between two CFI jobs just to barely make ends meet....

Bingo! AMR will start hiring 70 a month this fall, and DAL will start interviewing this fall for early 2014 classes. Here comes the wave!

They were overly optimistic last year, or trying to get the TA passed. 13 717s are coming this year, 38 next year plus a 100 something I think retirements. They have to hire unless they plan on robots operating the planes

And how many 75s and DC9s are going away? My understanding is that this is not growth.
