Never dis on the merry acres! It's a classic. I love the Orange Archie Bunker recliner

The Hilton's could take some lessons on how to treat its customers from merry acres. They ain't fancy but they are good folks. Always went out of their way for you. Dropped off and picked up at my door! Old ladies always show early to make sure nap guys have a hot breakfast before they took you to the airport.

I'll take good people and great customer service over up to date wall paper any day.

So if you're junior, you can fly the 900 and get no raise.
This is only a deal on the LXJT side. They don't fly the CRJ. So it doesn't apply. It has no effect on the ASA side.

But we're in joint negotiations for a new contract. This sets a precedent. And if the L-XJET side gets 50+ seat aircraft (which is obviously the intention, or else why invest the effort to negotiate an agreement) then any fleet with a common type (like CL-65) will be flown by a single group of pilots.

Dual qual is something the company wanted in the new contract. So it doesn't surprise me that it found its way into this arbitration award. Especially considering that other airlines already have dual qual.

I don't think dual qual is a good idea, especially for a new hire with no prior experience on said equipment.
