American likes and wants the 175, there is talk about sending one or two of our superduper senior training/test pilots to school on it. Company is holding off just so they don't get caught up in the threesome Eagle, AMR, and Republic are having.

Also if you were in the industry of selling A/C, wouldn't you fly one up the show the big wigs. It's all about sales. I'm sure the fokes at EMB scheduled the showing rather than us.

I agree. Any chance that the contract might be done this year? If we don't come to terms, does that mean that it will be taken for arbitration? Looking at all the bickering that has been going on in regards to that, I am hoping that when or if I come back from medical LOA that it would be all done and over with.

This is the problem right there and I have heard it myself when I was on line from the senior guys. By the way, was the FO new? Just wondering since he was brown nosing.

First, under the TPA, arbitration is not an option.

Second, my sources tell me a breakthrough may be coming in the next couple of weeks that leads to a TA. Stay tuned.

The short staffing on the ERJ sides continues. Vacation buy backs at 150% were just announced for May.
