Also if you were in the industry of selling A/C, wouldn't you fly one up the show the big wigs. It's all about sales. I'm sure the fokes at EMB scheduled the showing rather than us.

I agree. Any chance that the contract might be done this year? If we don't come to terms, does that mean that it will be taken for arbitration? Looking at all the bickering that has been going on in regards to that, I am hoping that when or if I come back from medical LOA that it would be all done and over with.

That few appears at least from my experiences to be "quite a few". In the jump-seat headed up north one night a moderately senior captain says " If this company purchased 737's and wanted to pay me $1 an hour more I'd do it in a heartbeat! Because #1 is all that matters, and I'm #1. Just looking out for myself." The fairly junior F.O. found this to be a really good philosophy and continued to kiss the guy's a**. Take it for what it's worth but I couldn't tell it any more accurately. And I've heard and seen similar things on several occasions.

Second, my sources tell me a breakthrough may be coming in the next couple of weeks that leads to a TA. Stay tuned.

The short staffing on the ERJ sides continues. Vacation buy backs at 150% were just announced for May.
