What's the Latest at ASA/Expressjet?

2013 YTD resignations:
ERJ CA:15
ERJ FO: 3
CRJ CA: 13
CRJ FO: 5
* As of 02/18 on Xjet.com. 1/5 split isnt close to a 50/50. A bigger problem with that number for ASA and their chronically reactive manpower staffing is the 13 captains that have left in the first 6 weeks of 2013 is only 5 people less than the entire left seat attrition of 2012 at ASA

Separations since January 2012:
ERJ CA: 65 (2012) + 15 (2013) = 80
ERJ FO: 71 (2012) + 3 (2013) = 74
CRJ CA: 18 (2012) + 13 (2013)= 31
CRJ FO: 41 (2012) + 5 (2013)= 46
The CRJ side separations were heavily slanted toward FOs (and seemingly more from the junior end) in 2012. Hopefully the early 2013 correction continues and many more pilots find opportunities at better employers.

Bring it on, hope you're right!!! Most of the Vietnam guys are back, but more are coming. They already have these guys in their numbers I'm sure. I doubt they expected to see people start leaving so early this year since the big D said they weren't hiring till late this year/early next... I think that's all they listen to in terms of planning ahead.
Hoping we see a decent number of upgrades. I'll also be curious to see if they reduce ATL700 in favor of adding to DTW700

CT did write that early in the month, but if you went to him directly he made it clear that was not the case. When I reached out after that Jetstream, it was clarified that "no plans for a CRJ Pos Notice" actually meant - "expect a vacancy in the next few weeks". I imagine it's much easier to field calls when you predict gloom while planning for sunshine.

Thanks. I am headed to Spirit. I am definitely going to miss the guys/gals at XJT, the ERJ, and being the F/O rep for the past 5.5 years but it's time to go . Spirits growth, pay & contract will make up for all that 10 fold

CT was in the ATL crew lounge today with the Chief pilot and a couple if other people fielding questions from the line pilots. I didn't speak with them because I had a trip, but it could be related.

Evidently that's just due to the survey saying they want to see managers pretty faces more often
