That's funny right there. If you think a contract cannot be manipulated then you have not been in this industry long enough to realize this. Trust me, there will be a code share coming our way. I just hope I'm gone before it happens.

Wishful thinking at best on the Codeshare. Delta pilot contract prohibits it, & UAL pilot contract is fairly restrictive as well. Plus, Codeshare would require Skywest Inc to pay for their own fuel, mx, etc. The crack spread is $25-$30 per barrel putting Jet A well over $3.00 per gallon. Skywest Inc simply won't have the income to sustain that.
Either way, I hope I'm not here to take part in it.

I'll tell you this. SkyWest Inc. isn't just going to lay down and die because some mainline ALPA groups told them to. Also, I think we all know that SkyWest didn't really order those MRJs as RJ-700/900 replacements. SkyWest of the future will either work with their "mainline partner" CEOs to find a loophole in the PWAs allowing code share, or they will just go it alone with MRJs and possible Airbuses.
Either way, I hope I'm not here to take part in it.

SkyWest Holdings is in the best position as far as cash flow, balance sheet and diversity amongst all the regionals. The down side is senior pilot groups and better contract that anyone else out there and 80% of airplanes being 50 seaters. With that said, lay off the pipe. What makes SKW so special? Look at RAH, they bought a LCC to compete and flew 99 seat jets at less than 50 seaters rates at most regionals and is not able to compete and continues to shrink. The fact that SKW has 1/2 billion in the bank has most you guys out of contact with reality. SKW is a good regional, it does a good job as a subcontractor but it's nothing special. The minute management comes after you guys for cuts, lit integration and such you will see the culture that makes SKW what it is die down and you will be just another regional but with a lot of 50 seaters. Look at Southwest, look at their culture and management hasn't touched compensation yet.

Oh, and he bought a brand that was already established!!! And it still blew up in his face. And he operates A319/320s and E190s. So while your so confident it will happen, I'm more confident it will not. And if it does, it will be an EPIC FAIL. Your theory is based on a hunch. Mine however, is based on Independence Air, ExpressJet Airlines, Skybus, and the BB RAH Frontier Airlines failure.

Actually, Southwest management has hinted strongly at it.
