Serious question: Who on your side is telling you we told your side to pound sand? Please name names. You can PM me if you wish. Because we HAVE spent the last year trying to sell Flightline to your side, and it has fallen on deaf ears.

There is a lack of trust in this process now, and selling-out individuals isn't going to fix that. There are new regimes in place at the MEC level. It could be the same old song, or hopefully something new. I think our group would be open to what your MEC has to say on Flightline and how it can be improved to make it palatable to all 3 parties.

Someone who is in an official capacity, and is lying to you needs to be sold out. And removed from their position.

But hey, do what you want. it's kind of getting too late for you guys anyhow...

Thinly-veiled attempts to create discord in the other side's MEC to strengthen one's bargaining position doesn't help the process either.

I'm off to work...back to your regularly scheduled mud-slinging.

Nice try, but fail. Just keep drinking that kool-aid they're feeding you.

We know your position. Your rhetoric on here suggests to everyone which side is building the brick wall. Somehow your new Eagle contract is a symbol of a "wink, nod" endorsement of the ASA groups negotiation tactics. Yet during the first 2 years of this merger, L-XJT grew at a steady clip, and hired nearly 1000 pilots...none of this has to do with negotiations.

BOHICA is right. UAL/CAL has been playing the block hour game with us about every 2 years going back a decade. Nothing to see here.
Part of the reason for only 900 pilots hired was that your former management team ran you so lean that approx 200 pilots were hired just to staff you correctly.

Just remember this..don't take it personal, it's just business.

You have tried selling a system that management DOES NOT want. They want it with entirely different work rules, an entirely new scheduling section, and they dont care about the provider. Your current system might be great but that WILL NOT be the system in the new combined company. So trying to sway our side with "we like our Pbs" is literally a moot point. The quicker that your mec accepts that and is willing to negotiate a viable solution for all parties the quicker we can move on.

As for my side moving off of Flightline, why should we? The company has already agreed to it! And they've already modified it to the point that both sides are going to be satisfied with it moving forward. The only thing the company didn't like was vacation low, which will survive, but won't be as much of a windfall as it currently is.
This entire post is factually incorrect. Even if flightline passed in our new contract it would be governed by an entrely new scheduling section of the contract, it will not resemble what you currently have, and anything closely resembling your current system was thrown out by the company. try again

You didn't even almost contradict anything I said other than "liar liar pants on fire". You simply stated your opinion of what you think is going to happen.

It's seriously scary we have people who talk the way you do in our cockpits. Your a grown man for God's sake. You married? Kids? Would you want your kids talking the way you do? It's downright embarrassing man. No one is lying here, both sides are being stubborn. I hope my kids never speak the way you do ANY situation. We are supposed to be adults here. Sure you are probably speaking to a lot of kids who are immature on here...but we both know you're very much an adult Tony, start acting like it and take the high road. You're making us all look bad.
