Yes its tough to compromise but you also have to spend some time in the XJT pilots' shoes. Here is a news flash: it wasn't their CBA that was making XJT lose money. Their CASM prior to the merge was significantly less than ASA's, despite the better contract. Go read the 10K reports for both companies if you don't believe me.

Have some sympathy for these guys and try to understand where they are coming from rather than turn your nose up and decide we are better off apart. The exact opposite is true.
Sorry, no sympathy anymore. The kids running the XJT MEC have made their bed...Now they have to lay in it.

If you really want a JCBA, then you need to pressure the XJT folks who think they can get more to fly a 50 seater than the United pilots just got to fly a 90 seater....There will never be a JCBA based on what they are asking for.

Certain people that think the solution to the problem is to point fingers and insult the person they feel is the reason for the problem in their eyes.

I try to see things from all perspectives. Of course I can't agree with them all but I guess I just feel the need to speak up when I see people acting a way that I feel has a negative impact on merger progress.
Your XJT pals are the ones holding up the merger progress...They are asking for more than the United pilots just got...

Which "two" did we "remove"?

Hhhhaaaa....That's a good one...

I think you are going to see some XJT shrinkage, some ASA growth, and no unity....

Well Joe, as much time as you spend on the pipe and you play dumb over here? We all know it's the L-ASA mec slowing things down because they are reluctant to have any change. This guy comes on the crackpipe and instigates things all the time. Best thing Y'all on here could do would be to add Joemerchant to your ignor list like I'm about to.

They could have been XJT pilots that are soon to be jobless, but their MEC has more bravado than brains...

Why did the XJT MEC turn down the companies offer to transfer pilots and take voluntary furloughs? Oops, here comes more Article 8 charges by the children running the XJT MEC...

How is the LASA MEC slowing things down when they are asking for less? By your own admission, you guys are "demanding" more. That is holding things up as Jerry isn't just going to give you what you want.

When you guys grow up, we can move on...
