How many are they projecting to hire in 2013?

Heard between 100 and 200 (near term, and not including additional hiring in 2013) on the CRJ side starting immediately... just a rumor though, second hand, so take it just like that... rumor

*Trick question. These are all facts.

Tell me again who's driving a wedge? Oh, yeah, it's Big Mean Captain Tony because he stirred the Pipe and too many people got their little panties wadded up at the audacity of it. Not your MEC and their shenanigans and obsession to steamroll us. Yeah Ok.

Grow up. News flash, vast majorities of ASA pilots hope we stay separate. And it's starting to look like we'll get our wish.
Are you so blind to your own BS that you can't see that almost all of your supposed facts are actually RUMORS?

Joe's quote I have not seen but from what I have read he posted that on the pipe? So we'll go with that as a fact. Everything else is HEARSAY spread by you and others. Unless you can provide me with correspondence in the form of a union email or memo. I don't believe anything that anyone says on these boards and no one else should.

Grow up? What have I said that's immature. Or is that just you stirring the pot again? You're exhausting and I don't know why I continue to engage in this discussion with you. I feel you do a disservice to both pilot groups.

Oh lord. Let it be known this guy doesn't speak on behalf of the ASA pilots. I haven't talked to a single pilot that wants to remain separate. Most of us are educated enough to realize two separate groups are excessively detrimental to all sides, and we want a swift and happy marriage. Don't believe me? Look at USAirways. Some of you need to spend some time away from this site rather than letting your blood pressure explode.

News flash: we are one company. The less we fight each other, the better off we'll be.

Agreed. Most of the people I talk to or fly with realize that, at this point, a swift integration and good contract is the only way to go to get us to a better place. Integration is inevitable, and the quicker we get it done, the quicker we can move forward together. We do NOT want to be the regional version of US Air. That has not worked for them, and wouldn't be good for any of us. We are much stronger together than we are separate.

I agree. But the only way forward is compromise. One side is willing, one side is not... no resolution in sight.
