Nope. And if there is not enough erj pilots taking COLAs, well you know what's next.

Actually I don't what's a COLA? Thanks for the answer, kinda what I thought. Trying to work out if I could do the commute to DTW or IAD on reserve. How long are new hires on the CRJ sitting on reserve, and what is the reserve sched. like over there? Have been out of the airlines for about nine years now.

Furloughs....However the XJT EWR status rep says that will be a blessing as those guys will be better off unemployed....

Would those guys not displace the new hires in the CRJ? Or are the companies still too separate for that? Either way I guess someone gets the letter. I have an interview at the end of the month but really hoping my current/former/hiatus outfit just calls back. Just trying to have a back up plan.

Thanks for the info.

No, we are still two separate pilot groups and probably will be for quite some time.

Cola is Company Offered Leave of Abscene. 79 vacancies on the ATL 200. New hires in sims right now that choose ATL should hold lines right out of training as nearly half the 200 list abandoned ship for the 700/900

No, it's a separate list so they would start at the bottom of the CRJ list when put in a class. They will keep their longevity pay however

Yeah, I saw that on the Pipe too. Not sure if their ALPA reps are that far out of touch or just insensitive pr1cks who already "got theirs."

Unbelievable.

What about IAD or DTW, same story with short time on reserve or would that be longer? I know its all speculation.

You were one of the furloughed ASA pilots weren't you? I suspect you have a better view of what it is like than their EWR FO Rep does....
