Please call your union reps. The LASA MEC is not negotiating. They are throwing around ultimatums that are simply not in the best interests of anybody except for the top 5%. They are running a political campaign for their own personal gain and not the greater good of the combined group. We are getting laughed at by management and this really is ridiculous when you hear the demands.

Comments coming from people on the more expensive per block hour side of the operation, flying the more maintenance expensive fleet, with the longest longevity pilots,... Don't worry about us over here! We need each other to merge or else we really aren't competitive but one side clearly has the advantage here. Keep spewing garbage on here but we are one company and we will eventually be the same team. It is time to tell both MEC's that you are tired of the nonsense.

They dodged a bullet for now but unless enough xjt guys take COMAs and there is enough attrition....well lets just say the crj side is going to run classes thru the end of the year.
It seem there is one side that has not learned that you word is your credibility.
>>From The Pipe:
FWIW, I think we fly like 870,000, but if we aren't upgrading guys now, we won't with 30,000 less hrs. I think it all depends on how many of our guys get sucked up in this next wave of hiring. I think the company said they expect 26 a month to leave starting Jan, but they numbers seems way to high to me

Enough of L-XJT, let's talk about the good stuff. If no MIA base, why in the world are they doing overwater certification on the 200? My only guess would be AMR flying in San Juan to replace the ATR

That will definitely get them to start negotiating with some sense. If not they can have fun on reserve in DFW or IAD

Can't be! No good information EVER comes from these meetings. It's just a Union Love Fest!
*sarcasm*
Had a great turn out at the meeting.

A sudden rush to get the contract done and a soon to be iron fist to LXJT means something. One thing Skywest has we don't, dual qual.
Eagle is receiving new airplanes and hiring, I think we will get a nice chunk of that pie.
