Gentlemen. Posts like this are unproductive. We need to come together as a group and work toward a jcba. Don't infight. There is no point. XJET and ASA need to work together, please don't think that management doesn't read these posts.

Don't be a pawn. That's what they want.

Welp I'll keep this thread going. Does anyone know the flight times of recent new hires to gauge what is considered competitive?

While I think your post is valiant; I don't think you know what has been proposed; and what has subsequently been turned down. Good luck to us all!!

I think it probably ranges from 1400-3000 total time in consideration of the new times required for the new FAR's

I'll tell you what boy, mark this page and we shall see. If you look at past posts I would say I am correct 96%, at least, of the time.

As for humility, I think you and your boys should look in the mirror. Also, I would recommend getting the blinders off and look at the road. When things actually take place it means that they where in the works for a long time.

Good luck over the next several months. You're gonna need it!
You are either trolling or just so naive that you think wishing ill will on another group somehow makes it come true. I am so impressed that you think you are right 96% of the time. I am in awe of your obviously superior ability to BS online.

We are one company right now. What is good for LXJT is good for LASA. You do realize that if xjt loses flying that it will affect LASA. Unfortunately a jcba is pretty far away when both MEC's are being childish and unwilling to negotiate.

Are LXJETers at all worried about a United contract? If scope gets relaxed "Expressjet" can convert something like 70 airplanes to larger ones. What type are they likely to be? My guess is CRJ. Seems to me one list would be a big deal to achieve.

I would say it's of mild concern, but we're not quaking in our boots just yet. We have agreements in place to convert quite a large number of our 50 seaters to 70 seaters if required. With attrition likely to rise dramatically next year and any phase out of the 50 seaters to take at least a couple of years, I wouldn't expect to see any furloughs as a result.

I would have thought that any new aircraft are likely to be CRJs purely because that's what L-ASA and SKW operate. The 170/175 would certainly be the preference for many of us at L-XJT as we know and like the Embraer product, but as long as they pay me correctly and on time then I don't care what I fly....sadly they can't do that properly at the moment though!

Just a question. I understand about the swap from 50 to 70 seats, however, who's to say the give them to the LXJT side? Was there something about it in the contract that LXJT guys fly them?

I honestly don't know, just wondering what would stop the LASA side from getting them?
