I don't know about the data to support your claim that the recent 2015 agreements signed at PSA and TSA are cheaper than the agreements signed in the 2004 CBA at XJT. Skywest made it very clear in the TA we voted down last year that they wanted scope relief to take our airplanes and pilots. Maybe that's kinda what they're doing.
You can find comparisons of contract language online. Suffice it to say, air Wisconsin, then LXJT have the best contracts, respectively.
By the way, there is no doubt that if pilots didn't make lateral moves to the TSA, PSA, Skywest, Mesa, and Endeavors, they wouldn't be able to staff those airlines and therefore force a shift in flying. But not everyone has the same ideals. It is what it is.

Sorry, but at a regional airline and on reserve you will NOT be off 20 days a month.
If they are properly staffed (ha ha) and/or in a low block hour month you COULD be home 20 days. But NOT OFF.
Expect to be off the minimum number of days per the airline's contract.
You'll be on a phone leash, so it's not like JS'ing/traveling is even an option on a day you didn't get called.
Also, expect some of your months to only have 2 days off at a time, with a larger block somewhere in the month.
Finish a trip at 22:00-23:00, 2 days off, BACK on call at 3-4-5-6am doesn't leave much time for traveling.

Leroy did a good job, but I'll second it just for emphasis.

If I get hired how hard would it be to get a training class date in November?
Also, the reason I'm asking questions about the schedule is I'm trying to figure out if the regionals are even worth it since I have about 2200 hours. I lived in Las Vegas prior to Atlanta and knew pilots that did Grand Canyon tours (Maverick Aviation Group is one). I'm kind of wondering if I should just do that for a couple of years and build up my hours and try to get to the Majors...that being said I don't know if that is a feasible plan and I can only do it if I am early retired vs being separated.

Delta publishes the average times of the various demographics that they've hired thus far. AGAIN, those are "averages". You'll ALWAYS have those that re BELOW those time as well as those ABOVE. Hence, and "average". Because SOMEONE is gonna chime in with the "well I know a (insert platform here) guy that got hired and he only had (insert less than the "average" here) hours!!!!!!!!"
Well no **** sherlock, it's an "average".
Since 2014, the "average" total time for a mil pilot was 3119, for 2015 YTD it's 3041, for the month of Sept it was 3192.
But do you have other boxes checked? IP/EP, safety, etc etc etc?

Will you still have a pulse and be able to fog a mirror? If so, yes considering the state of hiring at the regionals.
It depends. Are you going to have a currency issue? You're going to have to DO SOMETHING to get current. It's been covered A LOT in the military section as far what can be used to get current again.

I will have a ATP rating and either a 737 or King Air type rating by March of next year though. I'd do that now but I'm deployed til February.

I have the "got non volunteered to fly drones for five years just got back in the cockpit a year and a half ago" box checked which I don't think is good...hence I'm probably going to have to spend a year or two in the regionals. I'm just a regular old AC, and won't have upgraded to IP by next June.
Good, keep it that way.......
And I can't remember if you had asked some of this stuff in the Military section, but start networking YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!
If you haven't already.
Get on FB, get on Linkedin, get on ANY squadron alumni site and start getting those ducks in a row.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently in the Air Force and will find out if I'm getting retained to 20 next June (I've been in 14.5 years). I'm deployed until early February and will be getting my ATP late Feb/early March. If I am separated then I'll be out in October...

So if I were to get into an October training class, about when would I need to submit and application and interview.
My current timeline is to get back in the states in February from my deployment, knock out the ATP in Feb-March timeframe and then start sending out resumes. I will then find out if I am getting retained in the Air Force in June...so four months later "ideally" I'd be in a class with ExpressJet.
Also, random question...I live in Midtown across from the Marta station. Would I be able to ride that into work once I'm checked out with ExpressJet?

Yes you can ride Marta. I used to live by the Lindburgh Station. From the time the brake was set I would be walking into my apartment an hour later. I did that for just a little over 3 years. Only had to drive once and that was because my show was so early. The last train leaves the airport at 1am I think...I missed that one time but I knew I wasn't going to make it so one of the FAs on the trip dropped me off.
4 months is more than enough time to get to ExpressJet so October shouldn't not be a problem.
