Yeah, I'll keep plugging. A little disheartening to see people with far less time move on. I've even paid to have my apps scrubbed, but still nothing. I've been told places like Spirit probably aren't interested in me as getting another type may finally bump my app at the legacies. Been in the CRJ too long.
I'd hoped to move over to the ERJ and get a type there, but that does not seem to be happening any time soon either. I was not really interested in cargo but may branch out there as well. Probably won't be able to hold a line as a CA in DFW come August. Pathetic. Commuting to sit reserve as a regional captain after all this time.

I’ve been on reserve for nearly 7 years on the erj side in IAH.

Hang in there. I was in your situation not too long ago. I was in my 17th year when I made it out. 12 of them as captain. And if I was still there, I would no longer be able to hold the left seat.

My plan B was a lateral to Envoy. Would have been my 3rd regional. Fortunately, it didn't come to that.

My advice, update your pilotcredentials and airlineapps after every sequence. And network as much as you can. Keep in touch with buddies that have moved on.

It’s nuts. Your seeing regional cockpits here with over 60 years of flying experience and legacy carrier narrow bodies with much less than that.
