Out of curiosity, when should we expect our new bases to be effective (no equipment change, proffered for the new status).

Thanks!

Anywhere from 1 month to 5 months if history is any indication

And the 'when' can change as well so keep an eye out. Mine moved up 3 months and I didn't realize it until I was entering my monthly bid for the next month and saw that I was bidding for the wrong domicile.

I once knew it, but could you remind me where in FOS it will say your current status, and when your next status will be effective? I know that this is all predicated on a not yet existing Flow Plan / Final result.

I am just so excited to not have to commute anymore...I can hardly contain myself.

Time to clean up the log book. What do you do when you blocked out but returned to the gate and the flight cancelled? Elogsite has it listed with the time, do you just delete it from the log book or leave it in?

You were moving with an intent to fly. Company counts it, don't see why feds would be opposed.
Taxiing it over for mx/doing mx engine run - another story, wouldn't log that.

Don’t delete it. The intention to fly can be logged as flight time according to the FAA. Have had this happen numerous times.

P.s. FAA governs how time is logged. Company can not be more restrictive here.

Not quite.

Flight time means:

(1) Pilot time that commences when an aircraft moves under its own power for the purpose of flight and ends when the aircraft comes to rest after landing;

Landing is required to log flight time.

And yet the FAA counts that time.
PS My take on the subject is smack "down the middle" - I've argued with both the people who support "no landing, no logging" as well as "I was doing engine run up, so that's loggable".

Here's a letter of interpretation you might find interesting
