They can modify your assignment up until 5 pm CST the day before. If you get something with a pre-10 AM start and you don’t like it, you can forget to confirm and wait for the midnight call, disturbing your rest and making you illegal for anything starting before 10 AM. That is unless you’ve been notified prior (i.e. HI6 for default 4 am RAP day one)

If you had a pre assigned 601 Rap, then as long as you don't confirm, you are going to have Rap 1. If they tried to change it to standby at 601, just don't confirm. They will call you at 601 and have you come in for standby at 801. If you call them the night prior, they now have positive contact to notify you of your 601 standby shift.

If you confirmed the 0601 Rap at 5:00Pm the day prior you are under zero obligation to answer your phone until 06:01 they can change it in the computer and try and call you but you are not required to answer your phone. And that 0601 rap assignment sticks until they convert it to standby which would commence at 0801.

If they gave you 0601 Rap at 3:30PM day prior but then when you called to confirm at 5:00PM they gave you a 0601 standby that is also legal as long as they followed the contractual order of assignments.

-Keep the dirty side down

Yes, that is correct but he stated they changed it before 5 pm. You are under no obligation to confirm. If I have a pre assigned rap 1, I don't confirm it since I have already been notified by hi6. It's a waste of a phone call.

My priority with a regional airline is to get flight time. Can I fly 85 hours per month or more at Envoy if I live in NYC? My goal is to time out before my first 12 months there.

How long from starting ground school until flying a full schedule? Thank you for the replies.

You’ll have better luck doing that at Mesa.

1 call that isn’t a FLIGHT assignment within your rest period is not considered an interuption.

Default Any other way to apply?

Hey y'all, is there any other way to apply here besides going through airline apps?

Scheduling doesn’t see it that way, every time I’ve gotten a midnight call it’s “can I leave you on RAP 1 or do you need me to put you on RAP 2”
