With that said, it wouldn’t be fair to group everyone together in the “grumpy” category. A lot of Envoy guys are awesome, but to those who hate it that much at Envoy, just get a different gig. Nothing blows more than working for a management team that puts its employees fifth (not even second). If this is your case, it’s best to move on anyways.

It’s nice knowing someone at Envoy doesn’t hate life, their job, and predicament. Honestly, it’s nice knowing someone in the company is having a good time. Granted, I started following him before he even started at Envoy.

Yes. The biggest issue I have heard about is when guys that have a composite line. If they know your days off before they build your line then they will dump as many days off over your military leave. So when you come back off military leave you only have a few days off. I don't know the ends and outs of how often and how long you guys get off but I'd suggest you get in touch with the union and other guys in your same situation. Also the company treats military leave as it's a day off. So you can go fly 5 days in a row for the military and come back to a four or five days of 121 flying. Also, it goes without saying they aren't going to notify you of your legal rights about how much time you get before you are required to go back to work on your longer stints. They won't deny your request for the time off but they aren't going to voluntarily tell you the information either.
