Basic part 91 flying doesnt count toward 117 limits 😂

2.) You can still get violated flying for leisure in your pop pop’s clapped out 152. Nothing says you can’t fly outside of Envoy not for hire.

No duh you can get violated flying around in your own plane, but if you are also working a side job with students I think it ups the odds against you.
Perhaps you are right and I am just behind the times.

Anyone here who has ordered the new uniform have advice on the pants hemming from MH? I've always just worn pants as they are in my simplistic life. Their "size chart" offers no help. Additionally what lengths have y'all found to work for pants and jackets? For reference I am 6ft3in 215 lbs.
Alterations are reimbursement items with guidance on my.envoyair. Take your uniform to a real tailor and have them get it fitted right.

Moral to the story, try to avoid any flying like the plague if displaced for IOE because if you volunteer for anything you are essentially flying for free.
If you are displaced off of an OT sequence for IOE and you want to retain the OT premium credit, the LOA 16-01 spells out what is required of you.
