Like I said months ago, this is just the beginning of what they are trying to accomplish. At maturity it will greatly undermine the profession to a level only seen in Europe/Asia.

Some AA mgmt are family friends.

Can they get a refund on their management degrees then?

As this program matures into its own flight school with it's own flow directly to AA mainline, bypassing Envoy. You won't find your snarky comment cute anymore.

All this does is prove they’re going to have an even harder time staffing their regional feed in the future.

I’m not sure how long you’ve been in aviation but these programs come and go all the time to legacy carriers.

If t matures into something that gets you into mainline right away bypassing regional flying, it will be only for a very small percentage of mainline classes and likely only going to be some high caliber youngens or very well connected through daddy who is a check airman at mainline.

This is absolutely nothing new and simply a recycled idea with new marketing.

Yeah, I'd say take a look at stuff like the British Airways Future Pilot Programme as a model for the desired end state of this program.

New flow plan is out. Couple questions:

1. I’m technically still a new hire, but was awarded a base transfer this last bid. Why does the flow plan not show my expected transfer date, only expected training completion date? How can I find out when I’m expected to transfer?

2. What does it mean if your name is highlighted on the flow plan? There is nothing to indicate the meaning?

Thanks.

Old flow plan put out before APRIL 12th before the final bid was finished. Stay tuned for a newer updated bid.
